I live in the middle of the Mojave dessert. It really is the middle of NOWHERE! The town is a decent size but it has such a small town mentality. It is nice to raise your kids here, that is till they become spun out on speed since there is nothing else to do. The radio stations consist of country and western, several christian stations, two classic rock stations (1 from LA), the wave, and KCRW. Not one station plays top 40 or hip hop. Not that I like that type of music much, but still it would be better than country. I am dying of musical deprivation. It doesnt help that the new (for me) car I bought does not have a CD or casette player that works so I am stuck in music hell!
Enough complaining it does have a good side but I will save that for another post.
